Which transmission pan ?

Street or race? Seeing Mike's pic above, ALuminum for a race car, steel for a street car.

That picture is very deceiving. There are no clearance issues with the deep aluminum pan. Even in a low slung car.
 
I never use any type of sealer on any type of pan. Sealer lubricates the gasket so it can creep out and split. Us an aluminum pan if you can't get a steel pan to stop leaking, but I beat the hell out of some pans to straighten them and get them ready for a lot of torqueing down.
