Hi guys :)

Who besides me is a little annoyed about this. Of all the car shows there are kicking around who has seen a Dart in any of them. For me only one, "Lucky Town" a 68 GT I think and it was junky looking and missing a headlight bezel, but when Kirsten Dunst ripped out of that grocery store it sounded like it had a 340 in it :) This lack of these cool little cars is probably even more disapointing to fans of the car who really know a lot about them.

This is for you Mr. Hollywood movie producer.

Well to some person out there that "junky looking" Dart is their baby. To some enthusiast that "junky looking" ride is their pride and joy with most likely many hours of work going into it. Someone out there is probably calling your car a piece of junk. Something to ponder perhaps.

my 70 dart is still a project, one i have been building myself on my own budget, and my own time. i sometimes take it to shows, and it still needs work, but i get excited when other people show interest in my project, instead of the show cars that someone paid someone else $483910833 to look that way. even though my car pisses me off at times, its still my pride and joy.

Yes, and your ride should be respected and appreciated as such. I don't speak out much or get riled up about many aspects of this hobby. However, nothing "PO'S" me more than people who take it upon themselves to diss someone's efforts because they don't like it. I can appreciate the cars restored by collectors who merely send it off to a resto shop and pour in the money. However, I can respect and appreciate even more a car under process by a real enthusiast who has put his own blood, sweat, and tears into a project.

Every time my nephew sees my car he shakes his head. He just doesn't get it LOL.

i dont understand? from what i read you were the one originally complaining about how all you saw was a "junky" dart at the show? dont get me wrong, im glad you're on my side with this, but.. whatt??

And I usually am:bootysha:.LOL

I think the young lad is talking about TV shows/movies. Hence the Kirsten Dunst reference.

But I could be wrong:-D.

Unfortunately even though we know Dart's are awesome cars and are very fast cars when set up right the world overlooks them for the more known muscle cars like Road Runners, Super Bee's, Chargers, Cuda's, etc.
