This is the end that goes in the bulkhead connector. It is a Packard 56 type fenale terminal. Notice the little tang sticking up. This is the only thing that hold the terminal in the bulkhead block or in a female connector like this:

This happens to be a double connector. You can see the terminals inside. To release the terminal you need a small tip screwdriver and insert it into the connector. In this picture you insert ut at the bottom into that litle part of the connector jutting out. Yiu might have to wiggle it up and down to push that tang down. Once it’s diwn sufficiently the wire will pull on out
The other end if this wire is inserted into a multi wire connector, all using the same fenale Packard 56 terminal as in the first picture.

Generally speaking this brown/tan wire is not secured within the wiper harness that follows the main harness to the bulkhead connector. It is just taped in place. In this picture the red/yellow and blue/black with tracer goes to the wiper motor, which happens to be correct for a variable speed motor. The pink wire is from the Key On/Acc in the fuse box. This wiring is from a 65 Dart wiring, the brown wire is approximately 44 in long
Hope this helps
