Congrats!
Did you bring him home yet?
The night that my 2nd son was born, I did a burnout in the parking lot with my 68 340 Formula S near the window of their room.
Then drove him home in it the next day!!!
Wait until he hits 2 years old and you can "rough him up". It's a blast. My first son and I used to play when I got home from work. He would say, "Lets play rough dad." As I would be in the bedroom changing out of my work clothes into "bumming around" clothes, he would run up to me and I would pick him up and flip him onto the bed and bounce him around. He loved it! We used to play for 20 minutes like that when I got home. He would try to tackle me and I would pick him up and throw him on the bed. I would flip him over so he would land on his hands and knees.
Back then, there was a death in my wife's family and they had to go to Pennsylvania for the funeral. My wife had a cousin, Stephen, who was a 6' 2" Green Beret in the Army. When my son saw Stephen, he was very shy at first and just looked him up and down. Then finally got the courage to go up and talk to him and said, "Do you want to play rough?" My dad loved telling everybody how his 2 year old grandson "challenged" a Green Beret to a fight....
Enjoy your son, there are lots of good times to come as he grows up. Bring him up around the cars, he may pick up the hobby when he gets older. Both of mine are.
