Who is going to the Fall fling in Van Nuys Ca? I will be there with my 66 Dart :burnout:MT

Fall Fling XX is on Saturday October 24, 2015 in Van Nuys CA.
actually it's Lake Balboa, Ca. the "change our name so the property values go up, no one will know the house didn't move" contingent won the war...

I'll be there and hopefully my 74 Duster will be in driveable condition by then. I got my Jeg's exhaust yesterday and hopefully will be installed this weekend.

By your profile zip code, sounds like you live a stones throw away.

Cars For sale in Swap and Show field

Fun Field. There is no formal judging. This is a casual affair. We do informally hand out "Mopars of Merit" ribbon awards for: works in progress, Mopar spirit, cars that don’t fit into traditional classes, exceptional cars, survivors, etc. Bring your show car, project car, daily driver, whatever...

If you have any question please ask them here or email me directly at [email protected]

To avoid that "I left that part at home..." scenario from swapper, if you are coming and looking for certain parts post here. And if you are selling, please post here you are coming.

We are still taking pre registrations for show car and swap meeters online through paypal. We do not send out pre registration confirmations for Fall Fling. For online registration, your name will be in our list. Your paypal confirmation email signifies your registration is confirmed and in our system. You can print the paypal confirmation out to show the entry gate if you like, but not necessary.

AND!, don't forget track day at Willow Springs Raceway on the Thursday preceding the show. It's just over and hour's drive from the show. As Steve can testify, it's an awesome day-long experience.

(SORRY WRONG THURSDAY) Track day at Willow Springs is on October 8th.

Steve can you chime in on contact info etc. for the event?

Disregard, Steve. Hopefully, they will have track day before the Spring Fling event next year.

To avoid that "I left that part at home..." scenario from swapper, if you are coming and looking for certain parts post here. And if you are selling, please post here you are coming.

Making a list in advance really helps. Drink and a real light sweatshirt for early 6:30 am morning swapping is a great idea too.

FABO members greazerlou, nut4vintage, DARTGAME bought these parts at last Fall Fling: http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=293320&highlight=fall+fling&page=2

Any other FABO members with score from last Fall Fling?

- got a set of complete 906 heads for $80

- got another set of Sonoramic Long Ram manifolds - this time for $440! AMAZING! Theyre the long-runner version and someone ground off the heat riser pots off the bottom and there was no balance tube or linkage - none of which matters because ill be running EFI on the Duster so i wont need to heat the intake for initial warm-up (plus im running headers anyway), the balance tube doesnt fit a 440 and the bellcrank/linkage will have to be specially fabbed up because of the EFI throttle bodies so no big loss there either).

Ive always regretted selling my other set of Sonoramic Long Rams and the are going straight into the Duster and staying there!!!! The Sonoramic EFI 440 Duster is back in full swing!!!

I will be there Saturday. Unfortunately my '68 Dart (white one shown in Post #6) is nowhere near ready for the show. I'll be surfing the swap meet for some parts and taking pictures of all the cars. Feel free to send me a pm if anyone wants to hangout. I enjoy meeting members.

Parts I'm looking for:

Calipers off of a Gen 1 or 2 Viper
General Shop Tools (jack, jack stands, rachets, sockets etc.)
Small Block Road Racing Pan
A-body bucket seat tracks
Edelbrock LD4B or Performer intake for '67+ heads
Edelbrock RPM Air Gap manifold for my 360

Since I'll be going for the Bacon Wrapped hot dogs with grilled onions and peppers I might as well bring my Dart.

barrets had these "crews" that went to the shows to see who could come back with the coolest car for the cheapest price.... that wagon my dad turned into a 2 door and the hemi was a good one with the magnesium cross ram.... 18k.... stolen.. same as yours Tim...I woulda given him 18 for it or more...

I bought my 64 in 78. I really wish I still had that car! I am in better financial shape now, like most of us, compared to when i was 18. Looking to replace it. no luck yet. 383 will be fine. :burnout:MT
