Just curious, it seems that BFG should make the drag radials available in the standard 15" sizes. I contacted BFG about it and they forwarded my concern to the development and research team. Seems like they were stopped being made around 2012-2013 but why? About the only choices you have are Nitto, Mickey Thompson, RM or Hooisers

Teah but only matching brands i can find for front and rear are mickey thompsons, i already have bfg advantage ta on the front and radial ta on the back, just wish bfg still made the drag radials so i could put some on the back

they didn`t bite as good as m-t or hoosiers, and were probly not selling well. I have never has a set of m-h slicks that were worth a dam either, not enough initial bite.

BFG'S sucked probably why got rid of them..I've been using M/T drag radials for 7 seasons now always hook up great..

I guess my issue is im still running 15" wheels. Nitto doesnt make a large enough 15" for the front, everything is like a 24" tall tire. MT are the only drag radial tires i found to have a matching front in 15"
Im running a 26" tall tire in the front and a 28" tall tire in the back

BFG probably sold the molds to Coker Tire & Corky will sell them for twice the price of what BFG sold them for initially.

I couldn't get my 325/50-15 DRs to hook . But I only tried 4 times
I was very disappointed
I rented them to a guy with a 440 and a bit of Nitrous. He said he though they were pretty good. I just bit my tongue.
They look nice all up in there.
I wouldn't buy another set.
Maybe a buncha more people decided that, and sales dried up.

The trick to drag radials is heating them up properly and running the air pressure your car likes...some guys run 22 psi some 18 I like 16 psi..my car hooks better with drag radials then it did with slicks..low 1.40's with the 416..1.50's with the 360..and thats with nothing more then a cheap set of drag shocks and a pinion snubber..

Yeah, at just 4 runs, I'm sure I didn't give them a fair chance.I wasn't really there at the track for myself. People had been bugging me for many years to go and see how fast she was. Everybody was stuck on how much faster my car could be with a 340.
I made 4 runs that morning. On two of them I missed shifts in my adrenalized excitement. On a third run, which I thought was a great run, The tower wasn't working right, they said, and I got no timeslip. On the final run,the one where my tires spun all the way to the finish line, they said, I finally got a successful run with a time slip. But I thought it was way too fast, I did not believe the numbers. I went straight back to the tower and voiced my opinion. They insisted it was right. So I went to see the guy who beat me,and he said his numbers were bang on what he had been running all morning. So I hung my head in misery with my 93 mph ticket, and skulked back to my car. There was no point I thought to try and better that outrageous number.
So I tossed the keys to my son and said, why don't you try it, I don't seem to be any good at it.
Thankfully he declined. And so we spent the rest of the day enjoying the action from the bleachers. And let us not forget the wonderful track burgers. Yummy!. And we bought commemorative T-shirts, which is why I can remember; that was 2004. Just before my son's 20th birthday.

That's exactly how i feel lol, i dont want to run it at the track cause my expectations are too high, id be happy in the high 12's or low 13's especially on street tires

They sucked. Almost crashed my car with 275/60 BFG Drag radials at the track. I sprayed halfway through 1st gear and when I did the 2-3 shift the car went sideways, but kept it in my lane. Only went 11.70. Put 28x10.5 ET Streets and went 11.40
