Just had a little time so I figured I’d follow up on this thread. Cleaning the carb did the trick the car started and drove fine. As of several weeks ago it is off to its new home . I don’t have an a-body anymore but I still visit the site almost daily. I do have an ‘03 hemi Ram now. It’s what I call my hot Rod Home Depot hauler . Appreciate all the advice and support here. Ttyl
