Does anyone know what are the recommended width tires for the street? I'll go ahead and date myself here :), I remember the days of the 50's and 60's times, which could fit a standard rim. Sorry, actually the 50's took a wider Rim. So do they still have these wider tires and Rims available? I stopped in my local Pep Boys and got a blank stare when I asked the question.

Thanks...

Pat

What are you trying to put them on? A stock well car? tubbed? T-bucket? You can get up to like 15x15" rims, what the hell you'd put them on besides a drag car or something is beyond me. But you can get them..

Yup, they still make um wide. 21.5 X 33 X 15, rims 15 X 15.

Check out Weld wheels, and Micky Thompson tires.
YUp, they're on my street car.
