Will a 73 heater box fit in a 69?

I am parting out a 73 dart sport and someone was interested in the heater box if it fit in their 69 dart. Are there interchangeable?

Can anyone help please?

If it's an AC heater box it definately will NOT fit. They changed from 72-73. I THINK the non ac might be different too, but I am not as certain of that.

Some of the parts are the same, but they are quite a bit different on the drivers side end.

The first pic is a 68-69 and the second pic is my rebuilt 73.

The top one looks like an ac box and the bottom looks like a non ac. If so, they are always different.

Everything about the heat a/c boxes changed for 73 except for the resistor bank that creates the different fan speeds.
Controller is a good indicator. If the fan switch moves left to right it up to 72. If that switch moves up and down its 73 and later.
