Will a 904 V.B. work in a 727?

I rebuilt a 904 valve body last year with the TF-3 full manual kit. It's been on the shelf since then. I was thinking about using this valve body in the big block 727 I'm building. The Carl Monroe book says they'll interchange but the calibration is different between the two.

Can I swap this into my BB 727 or will I be asking for problems?

Seems to me there was something about 1 bolt hole, but I forget. Yup they work

on the back of the valve body..there are 3 bolts holding it in...the middle of the 3 is the one that can cause problems...if the valve body has a straight through hole...probably will not fit....but if the center bolt hole is enlarged ...like it can be move either way about 1/4 inch it will fit...

In picture at bottom of valve body...see the center hole...elongated
