picked up a two peice kickdown carb to trans linkage off an 83 dodge van 360 727 4bbl carb. will this work on my 73 valiant for a 4bbl conversion. thanks
 
The problem may very well be space. It is limited in the A body.

i read that somewhere. i picked it up for free thought it might be worth a shot. mopars in junkyards here are hard to find and most of whats there is cleaned out. moneys tight trying to save a buck
 
No doubt! Save it where ya can. Give it a shot, can't hurt.
 
I don't believe it'll clear the firewall even if you try re-engineering the rod from the upper belcrank to the trans. I tried and gave up and got a bouchillion cable kickdown. It was cheaper than the repop stuff from Jacks.
 
Where the bellcrank is mounted on the intake, it will work just fine.
 
thanks all havent been able to try yet maybe soon though doesnt sound to promising does it?
 
as long as you have the block to firewall clearence and the right hook up on the trans you should be fine
