I just broke my window retainer piece. This is the white plastic one that you insert into the hole, then push the middle bit in to expand the rivet. Anyone?
66 dart thanks you.

A short piece of good tubing like fuel hose, along with a 1/4 bolt and nyloc nut serves the purpose.
If you ever replace a window regulator in a newer car you will be instructed to drill out the factory steel rivets and replace with nut and bolt hardware.
This case is different only in the contact to glass and rubber insulator req'd.

Do not go used on them they are brittle.
Yea the mistake I made was i removed the rivet to repair the regulator, then I tried to reuse the rivet which was no missing one of the fingers. That was 6 months ago. Then yesterday I tried to realign the door striker, after slamming the door 25 times, I hear the rivet break apart and the window started to slide down. Thanks for the link to RT , they have them for $5 ea, plus $3 shipping. On eBay someone has 2 of them for $15. And then some other jack wad has some on ebay for $5 ea, plus $12 shipping?
I order 2 from RT.
