Windshield trim

Had my windshield installed today awith new glass, gasket, and trim clips. For the life of me I can't seem to get the top piece on right, this is as good as I can get it to seat?

I'm having the same problem sorta my won't snap on the aftermarket clips I also have a after market rubber seal probably the combination of both I'm gonna try to adjust my clips if that works I'll let you know

i ended up getting mine on, make sure your clips are oriented the right way, the trim kind of slips under the clip then snaps in and down. I had to take a small wood or rubber block and tap it the trim pretty hard with a rubber mallet. no dents or dings and it looks good..... let us know if you get it!
