I need to replace the hoses for the washer and have a manual foot pump. I quickly looked under the dash and it seems I have to remove the vent box to remove the pump. Am I over complicating this?

IIRC you don't have to. But it is not to bad to take out and could make it a little easier on you.

Yeah, it's not bad either way. Tie/tape a string to the hoses if you don't want to pull the vent box.

It looks like it will be a cleaner job if I remove the vent box, and it will familiarize me wit the box which needs a rehab also.
