Is it possible to put an A body style plug on a different wiper motor?
Im trying to use a 70 or 71 three speed motor on my 67 Cuda

Thanks, Nick

Motors, switches, wiring from to, and the linkage, is different. You could make it work but you would need 70 wiring diagrams, etc..

Best thing is to download some service manuals........

here.....

and go here

and stomp around, there is a lot of good info there. Info on Mopar wipers is a real PITA. Between the electrical changes in the motors, and the fact that the damn things use the switch as a ground switching return, I have two "rebuilt" motors WHICH HAVE BEEN CHANGED electrically from OEM. I still cannot figure out what was done. It might be that they are a PM motor instead of a wound field.

Hey Nick you can do that. What's the PN on the motor you're trying to use? Is the harness long enough to reach the bulkhead on the firewall? Just have to watch the color coding and how it wires into the bulkhead, got to make sure that the switch plate is clocked properly so that the arms park in the correct position, and of course, that you have either a variable speed switch or three speed switch with a three speed motor and the correct crank arm so you don't bind the motor and have it overheat on you.

Didn't we just do the GI 2 speed motor for your 67?

Yes, I gave up on doing a used one and had you guys rebuild my original.

Im VERY glad I did, It looks and works great!!
