Wipers for my 1965 Dodge Dart GT

Can someone tell me why my passenger side wiper arm seems to turn the wrong way? I installed an arm and when I turned it on, it turned counterclockwise looking from the front of car. The arm crashed down onto paint and damaged it.

Inside linkage is clocked 180 out, get under and post some photos

this has one in the wrong orientation and it would turn opposite from the other

this orientation both would turn in the same direction

Also what did the other arm do when this happened?

We did take out the dash to paint it; maybe it got bumped or moved during that. I will check it, thanks.

not sure it can get rotated without being disassembled.

Also what did the other arm do when this happened?
