I am replacing underdash harness in my Duster. It is a 72 340 4speed standard gauge cluster, manual brakes and steering. Only add ons to the regular harness were the seat belt buzzer which I added from old harness, and the electric washer pump wire, I also added from old harness. I have this orange,orange/yellow,yellow and a single pink and single white I am not sure what hooks to them. Can't find them on the wire diagram from the 72 FSM. Any help greatly appreciated.

Door buzzer maybe?

Also have this one under hood right above speedometer cable. Was never hooked to anything and wire was broken in car. Curious as to what it should go to.

Thanks.

First thing is, you need a factory shop manual.........wander over to MyMopar and download the 72 manual, free. That and a few others by the way came from the guys on here

The curved connector might be the time delay, see page 8-148. Colors are not same, tho

What color is the wire coming out of the firewall?

Possibilities are tach, clutch safety switch, or some other accessory

I have to agree with the pink and white are brake lamp switch.
The orange/orange and yellow/yellow is a tap where they attached secondary harnesses to the interior lighting circuits.
For example, They would tap the orange for a lamp at PRNDLL whether right there at column or with a extension harness routed to a floor console.
Same applies to the yellow. They added courtesy delay timer, etc.., to that that circuit.
And then there was a map light tapped in somewhere too.

OK thanks. I have the 72 shop manual down loaded already 67dart. Did that awhile back, thanks abodyjoe!! Printed out the diagrams, but could not find those on there. The clutch switch is there, but cut and run to ground. I found the pink and white in the 71 body manual going to brake lamp switch and figured they might be the same. Thanks for the help. The wire coming out of firewall is black with brown plug. Electric choke was a thought, but again, not on diagrams that I could find. Thanks again for the help!!

Just double checked the diagrams and it leapt right out at me page 8-151 brake lamp switch white and pink, don't know hoe I missed it. Thanks guys, you've been great help.

I don't recognize that extra black wire through the firewall. I think it was 72 model that had a centrifugal switch thingy inline of the speedometer cable. Find where that wire goes on the inside.

I thought of the Red but did not check for it. There was a smog dingus one or two years.

The black wire just hung broke inside car since I've had it. Was never hooked to anything on either side of the firewall. Just curious what it may have been for. Thanks.
