For me, it was even worse!!! It was a great big about a 100W trouble light, except no heavy duty bulb, so if you even THOUGHT about touching that blistering hot way too big, blinding thing against anything, it either burned you, melted the wiring, or popped the filament from the "impact"!!!!

AND THEN YOU GOT YELLED AT!!!!

You called it a trouble light, I always knew it as a "Drop Light". How in the hell did it ever get called that? Should have been Don't Drop Light, or touch it or bump it, or anything but smell it. More accurately, small whatever was near it as it was incinerated.
 
Ah, yes - Between "NO - hold it this way so I can see..." "Damn it, boy, that was my last bulb - I told you not to drop it" and the scalded hand from grabbing it by the back of the cage..... I feel my PTSD being triggered.....
