EDIT: I found that I have nothing special, now I need advice on what to do, see below!
Is this a 16:1 steering box? It is the steering box I got with my 73 dart sport. But IDK if its original or not. I am not too familiar with what was available and what not in 1973. I really dont care if its original to the car, I just want to know if I am correct in that it is the desirable ratio for power steering.
Also, if it is 16:1, what is there that I can do to make sure that it has the "Firm Feel" springs or whatever it is that I would do to maximize handling? The car is going to be a strong street runner, not a daily driver, and not a distance driver.
As soon as I open a new image hosting site to replace photobucket I will post some pictures of the idler and pitman arm I have.
Here is the video of me turning the chuck. Dont worry, the splines werent damaged with the pipe wrench!
