Wrong shoe!!!

Ok Am I doing something wrong or do I have the wrong shoes. The new shoes do not have the same makeup as the old shoes, the part circled in yellow is missing do I have the wrong shoe or is there a way to remove what i need to connect the lever spring?

If I have the wrong shoe which ones do i need?

Nevermind...I see they gave me the front brake shoes:banghead:disgust:angryfir:
 
Some shoes do, do not come with the pins. Just tap them out with a hammer and tap 'em back in
 
That pin is another piece of the brake hardware that is transfered to the new linings.
I'm not sure why some linings will include new pins. Maybe they dont want to receive cores with bent ribs or worn out holes.
 
Well I just found out why some of them add new pins...the original pins are smaller than the pins that are used for the new shoes. so now i have to get larger pins. UHHHHHHH!:bs:
