Forgot I had a used 273 block (with old camshaft and crankshaft) from a FABO who gave it to me some years ago where I found the correct woodruff keys in the old factory components.

You'll have that. You could get closer at menards with the original ones in your hand.

Response from EBay seller:

"The pin was definitely an error, but the crank key is 100% correct for a SB. They are hard to get so many builders substitute a standard woodruff key. I have been building LA engines since 1964! 273s thru 408 strokers."

Oreilly sells cam keys that work( just used one) for 1.29. They had 23 in stock at my local store
Part number is 595061… Dorman

I just moved a key from a Magnum crank to a SCAT crank. It looked exactly like the ebay crank key. So it "fit" where an LA key would go.

That’s a chance you take with eBay. I just bought $100 hydraulic filter off of eBay for my tractor, supposedly crossed over to the part that I referenced. of course, it was wrong and not even close. $200 later I bought the correct one from a tractor supply place online.

this kit is from rock auto but is out of stock at this time. was under 12.00 I think, that is why I bought 3. contains a lot of stuff.
