I built a 360 Magnum short block. I want a set of aluminum heads because I do not want the risk of pinging in deep south heat. Don't want to pay new price, preferably.
I've thought about trying to use the hollow pushrods and AMC lifters together with an LA Aluminum head that uses the Harland Sharp shaft mount rockers but the internet is split on the outcomes of such a build- some saying too little oil to the rockers. I've heard Crower made rockers that will work but I cannot find anyone that can verify that.
I would use Harland Sharp stud mount rockers, but the rocker stud girdles are out of production, PRW is about out of business, Sharp doesn't make a girdle.
Want a pair, used.
