I emailed the seller about the title and he replied "since a insurance company totalled it, it is listed as "salvage vehicle"".

It didn't get that hot, yet everything is scorched and it look like the carbs are melted. And what the hell happened to the trunk? I would give him $45 and sell the thing for scrap.
 

there are many dreamers trying to sell on the auction site.
problem is
there are buyers out there with more money than brains.
 
When I mentioned the frame shop I didn't realize the car is already sitting on jack stands and it is still sagging that bad. From looking at the front right wheel it looks like something there has already collapsed from the heat.
 
Lets see...he's gonna send it to the frame shop for you and get it straightened?? Exactly what "frame" is he talking about?? Last I checked, Mopars don't have "frames"!! As for the price, I'd bet my last dollar that he's not into it for the $45,000 he's trying to get out of it. If he paid over 5K I would be surprised. Another azzhole just trying to make a buck!! I'd also bet my other last dollar that the "tipped some shelves over in it" story is a crock!! That ain't no shelf damage, and if the "investment" guy intentionally torched his own garage, the car deserves to die in peace and that azzhole doesn't!!

Sell the nose cone and the wing and call it good, thats my advise!! Geof

I think Im gonna be sick! Just seeing that beat up melted peice of Detroit Muscle and if the "story" is true just makes me sick to think about it.

It's just interesting.

I made a webpage once that said "YOU OR ONE OF YOUR NEIHBORS MUST OWN A POLARIS, AND THEREFORE YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ACCESS THIS WEBSITE"

I got emails for days asking how far the Polaris had to be from the computer so that they would be allowed to access it.

Go figure.
 
Oh thats a good read...send it to the guy that torched it to have the frame straightened??? the guy selling it isn't too bright...in his ad he is basicly stating that the previous owner has committed a crime (libel per se)
 
Well I cannot disagree with anything said. But once again, anyone who owns something has the right to ask whatever they want for it.
