Hi all,

I put my Intake Edelbrock manifold on my 273 and noticed these exposed holes. I can't remember if they were there before when i disassembled. Do they lead into the coolant or oil passages? If so, How the heck did I get something that far off?

normal..part of the intake heat cross over port...some intake gaskets will cover it completing other expose part of it....

I am about to put my intake on as well. Just want to clarify thy the space left exposed in the picture above is okay? It won't harm anything or creat problems down the road?

Mods, yall should sticky this. It comes up a lot. Seems we got some newbies comin in to the Mopar fold (thank goodness). We're gettin a lot of stickies though. Maybe yall could a combined "need to know" sticky thread. Just a thought.

I should have just used the search more in depth. After "Gap in Head", "Space in head", etc. got no hits and just started a new thread. But I just typed in "Hole in Heads" and got the exact thread I was looking for. :banghead:

I usually use the search (Titles Only) 90% of the time. I wonder if instead of making a bunch of stickies, or one loooong sticky, using meta tags or keyword phrases, or changing the titles for better searches with these common threads would eliminate newbies like myself from re-posting them.

When I use Google most of the searches point me back to FABO, which makes this an A Body Bible. The amount of information here is staggering.

Man I agree with you... most google searches take me here too. Great site! I've fixed so many "BIG" problems I've run into with my car just by searching this site... sometimes within minutes!

A ton of my google searches lead back to abodiesonly too.
Pretty cool that FABO seems to come up as the authority for abodies.

The owners of this website have every reason to be proud.
