Just wondering was all x heads 202s thanks

No not all X heads were 2.02 some were 1.88s.

BJR, You might want to double-check that. X's were used up through, I believe, 1970 - casting # 2531894. Then in '70 and '71, they started with the J-heads, which were cut for both, 2.02" 340's and 1.88" 360's. Then both engines were 1.88" in 1972.

Your right for that casting # they are all 2.02s, the 915s came both ways, and they weren't just J heads they were also U heads, as I had 1 J and 1 U for the T/A setup that I had. Both of those were bought as a matched set with rockers and carried the 915 casting #s.

Which heads were the "O" heads? Were these just 318 heads?

Not 318 heads. The casting numbers are 915 I believe like the X and J heads.

Forgetting the casting numbers. Every X head I have seen is 2.02 intake. I have never heard of any not 2.02

That's great. I just luck out and have a 72 340. But I knew when I bought it that it had the 360J heads.
