Bought this ‘75 shortbed D100 from a wrecking yard back in the early 90’s and drove it as a beater for many years. Then, a few years ago, my son and I decided to give it a new lease on life...
Yep... Mr JLR is correct.... My Daily Driver sense 1981.... 1977 Dodge D150 Warlock 360Ci with a 727 trans...
Purchased this one new in Nov. 1978 still all original including paint. 110,xxx miles. Pic. taken @ Chryslers at Carlisle 2019 under the Survivor tent.
My old Dodge trucks... My first was a 76 short bed, an original slant 6 3 on the tree truck it was ordered with a 9 1/4” rear, 3:55’s, 11” brakes and discs. I pulled the motor trans and swapped in a 413 big block and 727 pulled for an Imperial. Not enough to pull the car trailer (short wheel base) I bought a 64 1 ton stake bed for a guy in town. Poly 318, NP420 and 4:88 gears with a sure grip. Great truck that I rebodied with a rust free cab when I lived in Florida. First paint was B5 blue and W1 white top, grill, bumper and wheels. The rebuild it was painted F8 green and W1 white. Cliff Ramsdell
it was a 2 ton bought it out of a junkyard sat it on a 86 step side frame, still in project mode 55 dodge
I just bought a 86 D150.318 auto. Rustfree other than the bed above the wheels.Runs and drives. I am looking for some small parts.
This is my toy. It has been a really fun project. 1973 D100. Was an Idaho farm truck Newer bed swapped on by previous owner. Originally slant 6 with truck 4 speed. Original 8.75 rear end. Now has 408 with Sniper EFI. 727. 4.10 gears in 8.75 with Dr Differential sure grip. Best quarter mile time of 12.77 at 106 and change (Firebird raceway - 2700 foot elevation). I drive it to work frequently in decent weather.
I have had a bunch of the square body dodges, and sweptlines. Here is my latest old truck purchase, I bought it a couple days before christmas. It will be a fun fairly easy project when I get time.
