First it was the pertronix in my distributor, then coil, then carb. Now everything is good except it could use a little more pull in the bottom end. But anyways is there anyone out there that has ran this cam? I'm just curious if they liked it. So is advancing my DEH cam a good idea?
Everything runs great. It can light em up and it screams top end but that's why I would like to change cams, because I don't like needing to take it up to 6500. I would prefer it to pull more off the line then way up top. And crackedback I just installed it at zero
It's the 275DEH comp cam. Don't know all the specs. It's around .480 lift I believe. It's really not too bad of a cam its just more of a top end cam. When I bought it a while back I mainly wanted it because of the choppy idle but now that I'm getting my motor decently built for some performance...
So I'm not to happy with my comp cam and have been looking at a different choice and I'm highly considering the whiplash cam. I called Hughes and they said they would recommend using the 340/360 cam since I have 10:1 compression and aluminum heads. Has anyone used this cam and how did it...
Oh and the champion shroud with the electric fan wouldn't fit between the radiator and pulley on my car so I bought one of those universal **** trans dapt shrouds that didn't do anything
I have a 16" mechanical and a 16" electric pusher fan. Cooled fine when I had my 2 row northern radiator but now it creeps up with my 3 row champion radiator! I really don't want to drop another couple hundred on another radiator but I gotta think of something quick as to the weather is...
I have a 66 dart with the water pump that has the inlet on the driver side. I need a new pump and want a high flow aluminum one but I can't seem to find one. They all have the inlet on the passenger side. Do you guys know where I could find one with the inlet on the driver side? Thanks
I just bought a champion radiator and shroud and was hoping to stick with my mechanical fan so I was wondering if I bought one of the mr gasket 20" universal shroud and bolted it to my champion shroud would it be able to pull good air? Even though the 20" shroud only goes halfway around the fan...
So I have another post going about my total advance. I had a plate installed in my distributor that made my total timing when flooring it set to 32 with my initial at 16 and with high speed cruising around 48. Well I took that plate out which now makes my total when flooring it set at 42 and...
