Peeled off the vinyl top on the old Dart today. No soft spots in the metal but there is a few areas where there is some pitting. Any tips on dealing with this? I'm thinking about cleaning the **** out of it along with maybe a quick light sand blasting of the area. Then apply some rust...

What would it take to carry the front wheels to the 60' beams?

I think that would be a blast! Running 10's and carry the front wheels out to the 60' beams. What do I need suspension and/or H.P. and torque or both? lol... Here is what I'm working with 65 Valiant post mini tubbed and cage.

Balancing of stroker kits and vibrations

The 360/408 in my Dart has always had a minor but irritating vibration or harmonic that has just bugged the **** out of me. I didn't build the engine so I'm not sure if it was internally balanced or not when assembled. Anyways I pulled it out a year ago and installed a Mopar magnum 360/390HP...

The lower stainless trim on my windshield for a 72 Dart, having trouble getting it on. It was off when I brought the car home. I'm assuming new gasket was installed. My question is on the lower edge only of the rubber gasket it has a rubber lip. Seems like maybe in needs to be trimmed off. I...

Nice surprise today! Spotted this early Dart road racing.

Couple times a year me and a business partner go out to Willow Springs to practice going around corners (road race). It's a real cool open track day type event with a lot of high end cars and most of them are pretty darn fast. Today I was surprised to see this early Dart out playing with us...

The budget Dart is on the road

I drove the Dart around for about an hour today and it ran good. It's a nice feeling to hop in and drive. I pick up this abandon project as a shell over a year ago. It had some hokey things going on that I tried to the best of my skills to correct. I also finished up the mini tub project and...

72 Dart steering column electrical diagram?

On this 1972 Dart I'm working on. I'm missing the "brown" wire for the right rear stop and turn light. The missing wire seems to goes from the steering column connector up into the steering column. I'm guessing it may go to the turn signal switch for the brake and rear turn light. On this car...

This bright red font on the forums doesn't work for me.

Anybody else have trouble with it? It's really a distraction for me and not in a good way. The thing I really like about this forum is it was simple to read and catch up using today's post. Now for me using that search function, it's hard on the eyes seeing all the bright red bold thread...

72 Dart slant 6 car, where is the voltage regulator mounted

Once again trying to piece this car back together. The connector is located over by the washer bottle. I don't see any holes where it was mounted on the firewall or inner fender. Anybody have pictures? Is it in the same place for slant 6 and the V8 cars?

Did the 72 Dart slant 6 have points or electronic ignition?

I'm trying to put a basket case car back together, but with a V8 from a 74 Valiant. The under hood wiring on the 72 looks like it was a points ignition as far as I can tell. Looking like I may need the electronic ignition conversion harness for this later model V8 with electronic ignition.

72 Valiant in San Bernardino pick a part

Went Pick a Part hunting today here in San Bernardino. They have a 72 Valiant that has some nice front fenders, hood and bumpers still in place. Think those might also work on a 70-72 Duster as well. Real clean rust/bondo free and straight if someone local needs them. Car was a V8 four door with...
