    AJE Suspension

Thanks guys. I called Denny and had him send me photos and prices. I am pretty well decided that when I have the money in hand I am ordering it from Him. As an R&D machinist for thirty + years I think I can tell a good job even in pictures. I very much like what I saw. You are right about one...

HemiDenny: I am going to ask for more information. I have looked into both. Could you send me some information and a price list? I like the looks of your work. Not sure if you got my PM. Does your system work with the stock t-bars? What would you suggest for steering? Is your setup designed for...

How much weight can I put on a car rotisserie?

This guy thinks like I do...... Better safe than sorry! FYI the link to the plans is:http://redwingsteelworksplans.com/ These come with good advise, a full list of parts etc. I have built things like this before, but if you have a list of materials it makes it easier, even to substitute sizes...

How much weight can I put on a car rotisserie?

I'm thinking of building my own. I downloaded a great blueprint from the Internet. For free. The guy has a fab shop and has built these for years. He said this would be good for 3000# but having been an R@D machinist for 35 years+ I'm one to error on the overbuilt side! Knowing that an Abrams...

How much weight can I put on a car rotisserie?

I am thinking of building a car rotisserie for my barracuda. Can a full car minus motor and transmission be put on a rotisserie and worked on? If so, will 3/16" wall (.1888) be strong enough? Anyone try this and or heard of this?

Has anyone done a IRS swap in their A body and have any good ideas for same?

I am still intrigued by the idea of IRS rear suspension. Has anyone got information on this? Some of my ideas include Ford 8.8 IRS from explorer or mercury. IRS from an after market sorce ( read expensive ) or possibably IRS from a wrecked corvette or even a dodge charger or newer hemi car. Any...

    Proturing or roadrace rear suspension

Not sure if this is the right forum for this but I'm going to toss it out for comment. What type of rear suspension works best for protouring or roadrace/autocross? Should I stick with the standard springs and use caltracks or should I consider a four link of some kind. I have also considered an...

    Dim lights in dash

The lights in the dash of my 68 barracuda are very dim. The reostat on the headlight switch only makes them dimmer. Could the problem be in the connection ( dash to wiring)? Could something be cutting the voltage to these dash lights?

    Dashboard overhaul

I have a 1968 Plymouth barracuda. My dash lights are really dim do you suppose that one or other problems 68gtxman suggested might be the problem. Where is the stepdown voltage limiter located. I assume the dash plug should be easy to find, but probably not easy to get to. Being a 60s Mopar Guy...

What length rear end fits a stock plymouth Barracuda?

Thanks for the easy answers. If you don't know just say so. If the rear end is the wrong length, it doesn't make any differance which wheels you use. Like I said- just trying to save myself some time. I know how to get the right measurements, it just takes time. Width, length, all the same I...

Do I go for the complete 489 center or just a brand new sure grip?

The 489 unit is stronger than the 741. I believe parts are still available for both. I just purchased a new cluthc limited slip two years ago. I belirve you could just by clutch parts for the unit and rebuild it,if needed.
