Need to make sure my rear shackles that hold leaf spring is adjusted correctly. One looks like its at a 20 degree angle towards rear bumper other is almost straight up and down. How much of a angle should be on them towards the bumper. Sitting high on one side .It is on a 70 Duster

I am going to move it off the radiator .Put a space between it and the radiator .It is blocking some of the air flow going into the radiator. Thanks to every one for the help

It's blocking some of the air flow through the radiator. It is run through radiator then trans cooler.When its 90 degrees outside and your sitting in traffic 10 degrees makes a difference

Thinking about mounting it somewhere instead of in front of radiator. It has a 3k stall . I have a street rod that it goes through radiator then through cooler. The cooler is mounted on body by rear of transmission.

I mounted a trans cooler in front of my radiator. It runs about 10 degrees hotter in traffic now. Should I have a space between the cooler and radiator ? It is flush against the radiator now. Or can it be mounted some where else. Its in a 70 duster 340

Have a loud high pitched whining noise coming from rear of car . Gets louder when I give it the gas. Nothing is rubbing and pinion nut is tight. Any ideas what it may be? Thinking it may be pinion bearing

I am running a tight street version 10 inch converter from turbo action and it works great stalls about 3200 have had zero problems after 5000 miles.

I have a 727 trans. I am checking the fluid with it warmed up and in neutral.If you pull out the stick it shows full on the front of the stick,but the backside of the stick has no fluid showing on it.Is this normal or do i need more fluid.

Have someone hold the gas pedal to the floor and verify the carb is all the way open.Pull lokar cable till it bottoms lever out at trans.Should be correct tighten it down.I f you put slack in the cable it might not pull trans lever all the way back which will reduce pressure and burn your bands...
