Can you expand on your fix for this problem?. I have heard of a lot of people breaking rockers on these but havent encountered any that have broken the T&D as yet.

Yeah you got me, probably cheaper. Indy have the T&D for $1155 which will probably be another 50% on top of that by the time they get here to Australia.

Ok I found MR gasket instructions which mine is and they say make sure IN goes to corresponding IN. I am going to take off and double check all this.

The tube of the Milodon dipstick is a nice peice but the actual dipstick is woefull. Apart from the obvious not reading correctly, I could not see oil on mine either. I had to colour mine in with a white sharpie just to get a bit of contrast to see the oil.

I used an 8 quart oil pan on my 408 with the suggested dipstick for that pan. When I put oil in, it was way lower than full mark. Anyone else struck this on this combo. I put around 9 quarts in but I have a remote filter and 2ft hoses. Leave it or drain a little out?.

I didn't on my 408. I used the Mopar performance steel one. I think part number P3690715 which has hardened tip and pinned drive gear.

Was looking at eliminating mine as I have Magnum intake with LA Timing cover and water pump. Try to find a hose that fits THAT however I am going to make it work with a longer threaded fitting and an elbow hopefully. Will muck around with it to make it work.
