I went with Fitech for one big reason, I got fed up with the **** gas that they put out that boiled out of the bowls and into my intake on any warm spring day because of winter blend. F'n stupid government. Gas doesn't boil at 56 psi.

You can do both. PPG single stage, and probably others, you can do 2 coats of single stage, and then the 3rd coat is 1/2 and 1/2 single stage and clearcoat mixed together. Best way in my opinion.

I have a 2004R in my Barracuda. With a little bit of tunnel modification, it's a nice fit. And it has less parasitic loss than other transmissions. I do need to do a bit of upgrades on the internals of the 2004R before I'll feel safe in sinking the pedal to the metal.

Even though the screws have a little bit of "goo" on them, when I did mine I added a little bit of butyl rope caulk behind the clip just for insurance. Haven't had any leaks yet.

That kinda looks like a metallic color. I'd avoid single stage metallics like the plague. If you wet sand a run on a single stage metallic it will be very noticeable. That is why god gave us BC/CC, BC goes down dry, and if you hammer the clear anywhere then you are only sanding and buffing...
