I am trying to get rid of my exhuast and my intake but I cannot seem to do it. Where can I take it, because I have been so hard to sell them.
Its a slant six one barrall intake and an exhaust..somewhere in the early 70s.

Did you try selling them on here?? Shipping costs these days would probably cost more than the parts are worth, I'm no slant-6 expert but thay look kinda heavy...

I have seen many complete /6's here for free, I'm not trying to be a jerk but there isn't much demand for the intake and only minimal demand for the exhaust. You might putting it back together and sell it, complete and ready to bolt on.

Do like the rest of us and suck it up and suffer. Times are hard. I just hauled off several sets of big block heads to the scrap yard. Including one set of 906 bare castings, a set of 516 fully assembled castings and some 346 castings. If you need the money that bad, scrap iron is like 12 bucks per hundred pounds. I've tried sellin a couple things on here. Stuff that would sell like HELL for anybody else and nobody bought it. I hate Ebay cause it ain't seller friendly. So, I'm just gonna start makin scrap runs with all my stuff. I gotta edelbrock intake for a 383 that'll be in the next pile. I've come down on the price three times. They sell for 200 bucks new plus shippin. But I'll take the .50 cents a pound from the scrap yard. Cause it's a SURE thing.

Unfortunately parts are not selling good at all right now unless it's something that's real rare and unfortunately your parts are just the opposite. What you have for sale is something that almost never goes bad. I have had several parts listed much cheaper than they would have sold for 2 yrs. ago and they still haven't even had any bites. In addition to this board you can also try Craigslist, Moparts, and slantsix.org to try to sell your stuff on. Like Strokerscamp said E-bay isn't seller friendly anymore so don't waste your time there.

Nope. I'm done tryin to sell. My last price when somebody asked was 150 SHIPPED with no response back. It pisses me off because other people sell stuff like that all the time. It's a fair price but I'm done with it.

It's awful, ain't it? Ebay is SO one sided now it's pathetic. they've made it so buyer friendly sellers are gonna stop sellin. then what are the buyers gonna buy? LOL sellers cant even leave bad feedback anymore but the buyer can burn the seller's ***. just not fair. not to mention all the damned fees. you get stabbed with ebay fees AND Paypal fees. since ebay owns Paypal, that's double dippin big time. the whole damn thing is a scam.

10 cents a pound for cast iron at the scrap yard. in the 15 years i have been working on mopars i have only sold 1 slant six. i must have scrapped about 10. sorry.

I see the uncracked slant exaust manifolds sell on the bay, but it may not sell for much, AND I have seen the sell for $99!! Stupid. I wish I had something else to add.

Man don't take it personal, I've been watching parts drop across the whole spectrum steadly over the past 6 to 12 months... People either don't have the extra money or their holding on to it waiting to see the next whack job bill to come out of Washington....

I don't. It just makes me mad cause anybody else wouldda sold piss outta it. Never have had luck sellin stuff.

I was in your shoes.I tried selling my slant six and transmission for $100 on craigslist but no dice. After a week I offered it for free and I had a kid and his father come and pick it up .They will be rebuilding it and putting it in a 4 door Dart.Im glad it will live on in another car and glad I was able to help out and not scrap it:cheers:

The last 383 edelbrock intake I sold I think I got $115.00 out of it, It was the old school DP4B with the chrysler part number, that was back in May...

I would give something away for free before scrapping it. $12 per one hundred pounds? Doesn't even sound worth the trip. If you put that same 100 pounds worth of parts on here for $12 plus shipping, they would get sold.

No, I'll scrap the thing and take pics of it layin in the scrap pile with all the rest of my load and post um on here. somebody Shouldda bought the damned thing. Not like I wanted a mint for it. Bein on disability, I need the money. I ain't sellin it for 12 bucks. Too bad DarTT ain't buildin a big block, I would give it to him....but i've already given him a small block Edelbrock intake. GAVE. See? It ain't like I don't try to help people. But when I need help, it's all too hell with my ***.

I scraped some aluminum rims got tired of tripping over them I know they were worth more but I needed the cash (O.E. import rims)

dont gimmie some vague crap. you find my intake "interestin" PM me and let me know. I still need a lot of stuff. I like to trade.

well, I'm not tryin to come off like I'm mad at anybody....just the situation. I mean....I've never had great luck sellin stuff to begin with. I've never been one who felt comfortable with makin somethin sound better than it is. I'm just not a salesman. Sales pitch? really, what's that got to do with it if somebody wants the part? I have a 100% ebay feedback rating over 800 strong. I keep my word, I follow through. I am as honest a person as you'll meet. Why the heck does anything else matter? But like I said....I wasn't tryin to come off like I was mad at anybody. The whole situation just sucks. I can completely sympathize with Liz.
