Definitely one sweet car! I think my grandmother could have turned that thing around faster than that guy.

Don't tell my little Val in the driveway, but I am in lust.

Awesome car, just speechless.

If you want to see some comedy, go to the youtube link for this video. Some tool left a comment saying this car would run mid 12's...joke of the century right there. More like 7-8 seconds.

Yeah I tend to agree with you, however I have manual steering in my Dart, it's only a small block with a B&M blower. I can't imagine what it must be like with all of that additional weight over the wheels not to mention the spool he probably has in it fighting him as well. My car originally had power steering but it didn't pertain to going fast so I took it out (I was 24 then) now at 53 I'm here to tell you I want my power steering back LOL.

That video was very anticlimactic!! I kept waiting for him to hit it, but he just turned it around, very slowly.

I agree, it's a beastly ride. I searched for more videos, but found none.

I was just thinking the very next thing to do on that car is power steering. Awesome grandma you have there. :)

I could beat that with my Duster!! LOL.. That is one crazy Machine!!! I was hoping for a little launch. Maybe he will post one later when he has broken it in!

There's a little Metropolitan that shows up at local SoCal shows with a blown big-block Chevy. Has a more radical idle than that Valiant.
All he does is unload it off the trailer, idle it in and park it at the show. Same when he leaves. Never seen it run at anything more than an idle. Heard a story that one of the members of a local Mopar club told the owner to show up anytime at Irwindale to get his butt kicked by his street-driven Hemi Mopar. As far as I know, the Metro is just a poseur show car.

OK - counter opinion. Yup..it looks good.

however, someone should introduce him to the marvels of a choke..if that thing lived in a subdivision..even if he just worked on it.. I suspect he wouldn't own it long..I find the constand blipping absolutely annoying..and all it shows him driving it under 2 MPH..it actually looks like it will go faster....but loud doesn't equate to speed...I will look fwd to see him run it..

To be associated with Pam A...I don't think so...
