I just talked to Small block :D
He had Treva and I worried but the ol fellow is doing fine and just staying busy trying to make ends meet in this heat :glasses7:
He said do NOT!! count him out on this great Monster Mopar meet.
He did say he got to spend some time in the cool river and did some trout fishing this strongend :cheers:

I am so happy to hear that he is doing fine because my wife already had me talked into just driving up there and check on him face to face this morning.

There's 1.5 months before that date and who knows, i do plan on making it. Some things have to materialize but when it does i'll be in. Hell, i'll even drag the trailer over so all the new folks can sign in. Thanks for caring Mike. I've gotta go simply because i always renew my MCG sub there.

Heck Bill, just drive here and you and I can share the driving in Treva's Chrysler Pacifica to keep it simple it is a 6 passenger car with new tires and ready for the trip :cheers: We will be going just a few miles out of our way to pick Leanna up for the ride to Indy and meet up with many members :hello2:
 
Heres an update from cosgigland!!! After sharing your posts with Nella, your kind and caring words have seemed to give her the courage to commit to coming to this great meet and greet event. Mrs. cosgig is also trying to get that saturday off so we are going to make the trip as a family, but only for saturday as Mrs C has to work that sunday. Now with Smallblock possibly coming, it sounds like one heck of an opprotunity to finally meet all our heroes and also see Tony's car in person. This is gonna be great fun meeting you all and seeing a lot of friends we have already met there also. We can't wait!!! Geof

I plan to be there Saturday and Sunday and would love to meet everyone. So please post if everyone plans to meet on a certain day and time. I've learned alot from everyone here and hope to see ya'll there. Its gonna be a weekend to remmember.

OK all, it's official. The cosgig family is coming, and we're bringing "Sunfish"!!! Mrs. C has gotten the day off, and Nella herself registered her car so it's a go!!! Man, are we excited!!! Better save at least 2 cookies Leanna, one for Nella and one for her pesky brother cudakid!!! Geof

know all I need to do is talk Small Block Bill into a fun filled vacation away from all the hard work and heat he has been going through and jump in and take a ride with me and leave his work behind him for a couple day :D:D
 
Mike, if you can get Bill to come that would be the best news yet. He definetly needs a break and that would be the icing on the cake for what is going to be a great big FABO hugfest!!! Is Miss Treva coming along?? She would surely round out the roster and then our world would be complete, except if maybe if ZWR was playing the event!!! We're looking forward to meeting everybody there and sharing some great times with every member we can round up!!! Geof and Nella

Hey Josh, since this is the first time you've hosted the event and no one has experience with it yet, could you maybe suggest a good central meeting spot or landmark where we can all find each other more easily? Thanks in advance!
 
well satruday night, i am hosting a little party in the pits with pulled pork and a band.....you guys could all meet there, or you could meet coming into the track and Don Shumacher Racing, thats a good meeting spot

i bought our swap meet spot sunday night.I ll be there selling parts.Email [email protected] if you need me to bring something with me.We are evan and craig and All we have is mopars.

On August the 9th I registered in the non judged car show.Does anyone know

I go to the us nats every year for 25 years or so. but not this year i am gaving up going for the Monster Mopar Weekend @ Indianapolis.I just hope it does not turn out like it did back in the 90's when the mopar nat's came to town. what a joke buy our town law informent.
