Did you go with the 8.3 or the 8.4?I would say average for the 8.3 plus trans. They are not too crazy expensive for what they are, just more than a lot of guys want to spend when you can get a crate for comparable or less.

Yes the front is a 67 but the fenders are a 68. If interested there is a person sellin 2 front fiberglass fenders that will fit. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=162021
He has them advertised as 69 but the 67-69 are basically the same with only a few minor changes.
Good luck with the build as it looks to be a nice one. Ambitious but nice!!!
I was asking swisswill if he was using the 8.4 or the 8.3, he is also using the SRT-10 in his DartIt's going to have to be the 8.3. The 8.4 is too far out of my budget. The 8.3 I posted a link to is the best deal I've found. If anyone finds a better one with transmission, let me know.
Ahh, thanks man for correctin me.No, he's using a 5.7 hemi because the 8.3 is too big and upsets the balance for him.

Remember the 69 fender has rectangular light holes and fiberglass won't ground.

in correct statement, I've already got mine... I saved a ton by going with the 8.0L and will have less into getting it up to 550hp than if I went 8.3.
How are you getting the power up? I heard hotwirez had something for it but haven't found it. I can pick up the 8.0 and save a ton! I found one cheap. Like 2K.

Too bad that will be costing major moolah. If the 8.4 is like $10k, I can't imagine how badly they will grease you up and Deliverance you on that engine.Another option is hold out for the Gen 5. I just read 8.7 L, 531 c.i.

Whats a reasonable price range on the Gen 2 8.0?
Should be able to find a Gen 2 with electronics for 4-5k, add a trans for 5-6k, 7k tops for something pristine.
I've already connected with the guys at Roe a few times, even before the engine. They and Woodhouse were a big help in getting suspension sorted out. Woodhouse even bigger in helping me figure out how to adapt ABS. The Viper community has some awesome resources.
