Glad youre ok! Now go get to work on the dart its raining for christ sake what else you gonna do! :D

Wow, this guy must be having a bad day cause I can't imagine anyone being this big of a Asshole
Sorry but if you play in the streets, You are gonna get hit by some Moron Texter, a Drunk, A speeder etc. As Stated above, I know from Experience. You are the Asshole if you let your kids play in the streets.

In the end it doesn't matter because you can't bring someone back from the dead no matter how much time you do in prison for beating the drunk with a baseball bat.

Maybe someone needs some time off.....I would suggest you calm down....

I don't know who you mean but I am extremely Calm right now. Like I said I'm just pointing out the facts and some people want to argue with me. Streets are a very dangerous place. The drunk that almost hit them is in the wrong but you still need to teach children and pets to stay out of harms way. NOT try to fight for your right to be in the streets where drunks and speeders are driving unsafely. I'm not going to change my opinion just because some people are closing their minds to the facts.

lmao, derailed!!! I know out here in the country where I live, there are no side walks and if someone goes cruising down the road three times the speed limit and hits someone, they are in big trouble.

Owdkasd, lets put this to a test. Go stand on the side of the road and get hit by a sober person going the speed limit and lets see who gets a ticket. I bet it's NOT you.

Had a brain fart!!!!!!

So if a drunk hits your house it's your fault for putting the house there in his way?

OK, rumbles on duty, calm down, or leave the thread or just plain ol'go away and relax. Lets stop the silly postings and enjoy the rest of the day here.

Maybe Cliff wants a house on wheels..... LOL.

I was semi pissed reading this but J-Mac diffused me with that pic- THAT IS funny!
Glad you and your daughter are safe.

I live in a small town and in our neighborhood our speed limit is 25 mph,I walk my dog and visit neighbors by walking the street...Any cars come ,I walk toward the ditch.
One neighbor years ago would go 50mph plus down our street,We do have children all over the neighborhood not playing in the streets but walking to friends...
One day here comes that guy hauling you know what...I rolled a soccer ball across the street and I guess he knew that a kid would be running after that ball.
He locked up his brakes and as he passed my house he took out two mailboxes causing some serious damage to his car.
I may be a bad person for this but I do not regret it at all.Cops were called by another neighbor and he got a bunch of tickets...

Good one!

Train shots look cool....

TX Dart and I think along the same lines obviously. About 10 years ago there was some constuction going on about 3 blocks past my place on this residential 30MPH street and this one gravel truck driver in particular just loved to wow the ladies (or so he thought) with his gear jamming abilities. He'd turn off the main drag onto my street and before he got to my place, a block up, he'd go through 4-5 gears (box was empty) and be well above the speed limit. So after listening to this jack *** for a couple days and the local *** hole cops not wanting to get involved I heard him turn onto our street and I waited for him to get about a house away when I threw a soccer ball out front. Well he see's this ball bouncing, pictures a kid chasing it and locks up all 4 duals (probably flat spots the tires) and comes to a stop. Then he gets out of the truck expecting to chew out a young kid and meets me after I pick up the ball. I ask him how he would have felt killing that kid chasing this ball and if he doesn't slow down next time I'm going to haul his skinny white *** out of that cab and hammer the crap out of him. Then I track down the construction foreman and tell him the very same thing. Next day no speeding gravel trucks and quieted right down. :angry5:

Moral, there's no sense bitching about a problem unless you're prepared to fix the problem.

Ha!
Good one Terry, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
I would still call the cops and let them deal with it, if it ever happens again.
In the meantime, watch him closely.
My 2 cents.

Wow, those pics are awesome!! I agree with the majority, I'm glad you guys are safe and unharmed. Chances are, if someone doesn't stop that guy now from driving like that, he is going to hurt someone. Probably not himself, but who knows, a family in a minivan, a kid playing in HIS YARD, one of us, one of our kids, etc. He is just rolling the dice every time he does it. He needs a severe beating, but I don't think that will solve the problem. He needs to get busted drinking and driving, or maybe wreck and not hurt anyone--or himself--bad enough to scare him, destroy his car, and lose his license. Fines are stiff, cars are expensive, having no car makes it really hard to get to work, his life will go downhill. Lets just hope no one gets hurt. I'd still beat on him tho lol.
