Possibly the next week after or two weekends after. We will not have a date until November 1st, 2011.

Sweet! Had a blast last year. Will try and make it out again. Wife wants to go this time. Got a new truck to tow my trailer on out so I fell better about making the trip. Got a link forthe reservations?

I will be there with the new car. I may have to take the car to Fontana for its first 1/4 mile trip to see how it does first.

Spring Fling is April 21, 22, 2012 the next weekend.

Portland swap vs. Spring Fling swap for Mopar parts??....c'mon, seriously?

Thinking about going to this show, any nice hotels you would recommened staying at? I know there are lots of places in Vegas to stay, just want to be where the action is. We would fly out, probably get a rental, Thanks!! :D

It would be great if you guys could make it. MATS is a great show and there's lots to see and do. As far as where to stay, the Cannery is the host hotel for the event, but is already sold out, as mentioned above. The other link I posted is where we stayed last year. It's about 1/2 mile from the Cannery and was nice/new, lots of Mopars, but no casino.

The Cannery is the ticket for Mopar action on MATS weekend, but maybe you want to stay on the Vegas Strip instead?

HawaiiDuster, You better post some of those great photos you take !!

Less than a month to go :blob: If anyone attending wants to get shots of their car, let me know so I can schedule time for it. If you're racing, let me know which car is yours so I can be on the look out for it while I'm taking pics of the cars launching.

The wife and I have all intentions of being there. Last year, we did the cruise from Phoenix to vegas and I think we had more fun than anyone else. This is a blast. We made reservations while at the Cannery (got a room the second night because an availability) for this year so we're set. Been working on our Red Express for a few months to make it a better experience...door seals, exhaust, sound system...hope it works out and the old truck runs well again. Those who we drove with are nuts! I thought it'd be takin it easy with the old cars...we were wrong! 80mph plus most of the way. I'm excited and can't wait.

I'd love for you to get a few shots of my car if you have time

woodchip, I gotta agree with you about the cruise from Phx to Vegas. What a blast. We did it last year too and are looking forward to cruisin' there again in a couple weeks. Nice Lil Red Express you have

Check out this thread if you're interested in a meet n' greet with a few FABO members!

Also, They'll be showing the video that was taken during last years cruise from Phx at the Cannery on Friday night. I'm pretty sure most participants from last year will get some air time on the big screen!!

I may have to take the car to Fontana for its first 1/4 mile trip to see how it does first.

You can get just as accurate a time in Hesperia as you can in Fontana. The drag strip is temporarily (we hope) closed fighting some noise complaints from locals in the track area.
Irwindale is also closed due to bankruptcy of the group running the raceway, but I just saw mention that the property owners may be re-opening the 1/8-mile dragstrip in the not-too-distant future.
