You are able to get the headers out without removing them. There was a thread if you could drop the complete k frame out that way recently. I couldn't see why it wouldn't work. Your pictures answers that question. What headers are those?

tti headers...

may be different with a stock k and t bars

don't see why you couldn't pull the headers and all out with a stock k-frame.

i know i pulled the k-frame out and installed the alter-k without ever touching the motor or headers..

Xs2. Dropping the complete assembly as shown would be the same difference, The dicussion was if the inner fenders would allow it.

What are you wanting to get for the suspension (front, rear or package deal)?

I'm confused. Something wrong with the car?

Are you selling the shifter.

yes i most likely will be selling the shifter.. i'll post a for sale ad when i have everything together that is going to be sold...

the only thing wrong with the car is that it needs the body done...

to do the body it will cost almost $2000 just for the metal to do the rear end of the car, then a friend was gonna charge me another $2500 to hange and put into prime all that metal (not a bad price for the awesome quality work he does) so i'm up at $4500 already and i have a rust free primered rear end of a car. then i need to do a floor section, then the front sheet metal all needs to be done. then paint, then chrome, then int. work.... it all adds up.. i'm not willing to put that kind of money into the car anymore. just not worth it to me... don't want to spend that money on it of put that amount of time into it at this point.

I do understand. There is a point where it is not smart when there are nice bodies that are still out there that are still rust free or vey close to rust free.

Keep me in mind on it and PM me if you want. If I can squeeze it out I would like to have it.

not 100% sure i'm selling that.. i may have it powder coated and stick it in jamies car.. thats why its so easy to pull my car apart. i have he 70 sitting there and its absolutely spotless. doesn't make sense to put the money into my car when we could just put my good stuff under her car...

not 100% i want to be bothered putting it all into her car yet though...lol.. guess i'm burnt out on these cars. i have my mustang convert and am loving putting the family in it and cruising anywhere i want. injected and over drive. you can't beat that **** man... plus i just got back from a 2200 mile road trip vacation and i'm enjoying seeing things i never have before so i haven't been messing with the cars much anymore.. should have traveled a lot more when i was younger..

i was a that point a long time ago...lol.. kept talking myself out of pulling it apart.. kept saying your too far into it to part it out.. well that all changed when we got jamies 70 earlier this year.. that car is a cream puff...

this thing is spotless.. now imagine it sitting nice and low with some speed rated tires under it...:)

Yes, I can i,agine that. She is a beauty.

Subscribed. I hate to see your Dart being parted.

Wow I never saw this coming. I totally understand not wanting to dump that kind of money in the car, you won't get it back out that's for sure. Injection and overdrive are an amazing thing. I have been driving the hell out of my dart since doing the swap from the ram. I've put about 3000 miles on it in the last month. Actually I just got home from a 70 mile drive today in 115 degree heat and the car was perfect. I hope to see the burnt orange car sitting low, lean, and mean!
