Spending less time on FABO

I have always found it best to fight my own battles.If I dont join in the b.s. threads I dont get offended. Very simple.

I wasnt referring to you. I was referring to the other post were a member said the site is no fun and the rules are bullshit. Hence the if you dont like it here you are welcome to go.

You dont need to prove anything to anyone, but Im not sure what you mean when you say we are all screwed but know one cares. If you mean no one cares about the site your very wrong. If that was true trust me no one would want to be a mod and I would have packed it up years ago and moved on to something else,

Now if you will excuse me I have to get back to running my business. You see I make time to come here to see if I can help anyone for free when I should be working to take care of my family.

Maybe you should take in consideration that some people on here are dealing with their own physical problems, that's why it's been a long time for me to get your clutch pedal set to you Paul. I have really bad arthritis and mobility problems as you do at times. It's not just you or all about you. A lot of us on here are handicapped or mildly disabled, it's not just you. Some of us just choose to live in silence about it.
StrokerScamp deserved to be banned.
He was a wealth of knowledge and a good guy overall with a big heart at times i agree, but, he also had a bad temper and he really bullied and picked on some people, but sometimes he was very corrosive overall, and that's putting it lightly. That fact is something no one can deny. We had a few clashes on the p.m. side of the forums and i tell you, he has a heart of gold, but he has temper problems and other problems that i will not divulge (admitted by him to me) offline.
So, who cares? About people or the website?
I do, a lot. Almost to a fault in both cases.
And i think this is a great website run by great people who care a lot.
That's why i'm here almost daily.
I'm here to learn, grow within the hobby, and hopefully help a few people along the way. I actually get a kick out of the ranting and stupidity at times.
This site is a great source of entertainment for me.
A thick skin is needed a lot here, as it does in life and i do not need to fit into any ''Cliques'' here or anywhere, i actually don't give a **** about that.
Lighten up people, it's just a website used for information and entertainment, as well as a few belly laughs, no more, no less.

I wasnt going to post here, but I decided to anyway. I may sometimes stir the pot a bit, but its more in fun than anything. I for one am teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, but I dont come here looking for handouts. I come here cuz it makes me feel good with the little bit of knowledge I can pass along. I occasionally help out with fundraisers etc as there are worse off people then myself. That thread that was started by SS was done to help another fabo member out, but look at the "want list". Quite an impressive list to say the least! Then to come on here and say FABO sucks?? And to all that didnt give/donate parts, we are the ones that would spit on street people or kick them when they are down?? All I can say is WOW......

x2 I have sat back and watched the threads and self promotion. Not what I would do but thats just me. But to badger people and insult those who didnt contribute is apalling. I even remember a post where you would throw away a part before you would give it away. Thats when I knew there were others I would rather help. Hell your list looked better than my Christmas list. When you say FABO sucks you are saying I suck. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
 
This site is great. Some folks are very helpful and amazingly sharp, some make random comments, some argue, some add info that is not accurate or completely pointless.

Sometimes it is hard to get legitimate answers directed at the subject too.

Screw it, that's just what life in general is, a bell curve of experiences.

My only issue is when I get on the political forum, then I get wound up too much, so I got out of it, gotta stay out of it.

Fabo is a fun place to bench race, share knowledge and joke around too. Mods seem great to me.

i was done posting here too. but i have one more little piece to add.
i sometimes get off track and i am guilty of posting stupid ****. its all in fun and never directed at anyone in particular. i come here to pass along any helpful info i can share and to help someone out with any issue i have knowledge about. its a payback for all the help ive received with my own car problems. i find it very rewarding to help someone get back on the road. ive also had a 100% excellent buying and selling experience here. ive also made some great friends along the way and only 2 people on ignore. to say FABO sucks is bullshit. just because people dont stop what they are doing and start shipping out parts and money to help someone out doesnt mean they dont care. we all have our own lives and problems to deal with. i am as broke as the next guy, and i cant afford to drop money or parts in a box and send it out. that doesnt mean we dont give a ****. i apologize to any one i may have offended in any way with any of my posts including you Mopar To Ya. heres the deal, if i did, or if i do , theres plenty of space in my PM box , let me know about. i have had some of the best laughs of my life reading some of the sarcasm and wise cracks. the mods and Joey do an excellent job of keeping things under control. im here to stay until my computer blows up.

Beautiful weather were having here in CT today. I want to take the hounds on a hike but have to much going on this weekend. Maybe next weekend.

Mine are outside chasing the odd vehicle that goes by the front of the property....hopefully you will get take them on a hike....
