No I dont have it....I can see figuring this out will be harder than the pulleys/brackets....what are ya Bill an enabler??? Jeez.......

I hate pulleys.............. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! I bought a car to get all of mine so they would be right.

and you can post between them

i made a one day event pulling every single non-air bracket and pulley i could find LOL . the old 60s and 70s dodge vans are a great source

Lol, to multi quote you hit the quotation marks
multiquote_off.gif
on the right bottom of the screen but on the last quote you hit the

button.

still posting between them lol

Lol, just showing what you asked for.
Don't worry as soon as the improved FABO platform rolls out then it will be WTH, WTF and a few more choice words as I try to figure it out.

steve , your tech threads always turn into really cool threads :D

LOL, I love it when a few guys/jokers chime in and offer up some good advice/insight.
I was thinking last night bout this, and seeing how I have the 70 up timing cover, water pump, bracket, pulley I dont think I'll smash the sh*t outta the alt bracket. I will probably sell them as a set. I wont need them, then I just need to get the bracket and the timing cover....for now!

BTW, humor makes the most frustrating situations enjoyable! And ya guys definitely inject both humor and advice!

Thanks again guys

Steve,do you want me to pull the front off the engine?Brackets-timing cover-balancer.It looks like this is the only way to get where you want to be.This is a 68 318.Let me know.

Thanks Donnie, I sent you a pm. It looks like I will need the flat alt bracket and the timing cover. In no hurry for the timing cover, but if I get the correct alt bracket I can get everything lined up to make sure they work.

thanks
Steve

You don't need the other timing cover if you get the bolt on timing pointer and remark your balancer. However, if you are shooting for "correct parts" the '69 timing cover is a one year only part being the timing marks are cast in on the passenger's side. The '68 and earlier covers have no cast in marks just bolt on pointer.

Thanks, either way I will need a different timing cover as mine is 70 and up right?

I have a pale of parts from when I bought my 73 340 block. Also snapped some pics of the 318 that was OE to my 69 DART.

1969 318 timing cover shot (could check the exact build date if you needed)

That pulley still attached to the engine and one on the table next to the flex plate looks like what Steve may need.

I'm not going to be needing these parts for a very long time (69 gts 340 4 speed build on a tire salesman income). I'd be willing to let you use them until you found replacements if you wanted.
