My vote is NO but hey it is your car so please do it your way. That is the great thing about this hobby. Nice Photo shop skills though.

When I first read the thread I said in my head know, then when I saw it,it looks good with the sharktooth.

to me, the hood lines dont work with it. maybe if the hood was flat with one little rib up the center, but even then .....

If you want a shaker hood, buy an E-body, IMO.

I like the concept alot & think it looks great, but won't cut my hood LOL..........

if you like it then do it! its your car so you should make it your way

Plan to de-tune the engine so it shakes ? LOL

My 75 Duster- my dad put on a corvette stingray type hoodscoop on it. The top piece. Got it from jc whitney I think. That actually looked real good on my car. A shaker style though??? hmm. Its def different.

This may be more work than you want but if you could cut out the bump in the hood an reshape it so it widens out to the width of the hole for the shaker hood making a smooth transition that would look awesome.

I personally don't think the shaker looks right on that car. I have seen one on a Dart at 'Cruisin The Coast' and thought it looked horrible but that is the beauty of working with these cars, always make your car look the way you want it to look.

I wouldn't do it! Most I've seen it looks like the scoop doesn't come up high enough to be effective or look right. The ridge down the hood makes it look odd too. JMO. It is yours to do what you want with it. Yours to enjoy.

here you can see it on another car

i love this car, the color combo, the body color steels and dishes, the 69 valiant grill, even the front spoiler and black bumpers looks great, but that shaker scoop kills it for me. in my opinion, the A body dual snorkel would have knocked it out of the park, but to each his own.

I like it. Really looks awesome and unique to me. I like the examples posted too. The snorkel looks great on cars. But sometimes it looks good to mix things up a bit too.
