Thought I would get this thread going even though I am pretty sure it has been done. I had a 73 Challenger that I bought in 76 that I loved for 11 years! It was a 340 4 speed car and was black with a blue interior. I would not have sold the car except that the guy I sold it to was going to restore it back to original or better. That did not come to be and the car was cut up for parts. Here is a pic of what the car looked like, but this is not my car. Damn I wish I still had that car!!

my favorite that i have ever owned ....actually i still have it ...has to be my 72 swinger special. i bought it years ago in Denver, Colorado.....and it has served as a daily driver for a long time now....to me its the ultimate sleeper bcoz it still looks exactly like in the pics but it has a 440 / 4 speed and 8 3/4 with 3.23s. i also converted it to the rally dash.... not many ppl see this one coming ...possibly my favorite car of all time for me LOL

I have a few that I love for many different reasons but my 66 has the top spot. I have the most time and work in this car, and with a 340 4-speed it is a blast to drive. I love the attitude of it, and the looks it gets, nothing around like it and different is cool :glasses7:

My favorite is my first car, 1969 Dodge Dart GTS 340/4spd car.

Without a doubt the 69 Charger I owned for 10 years. It too had several engine swaps from the original 318 to a 440 to a 360.

sent from my iPhone

I have two;
1969 340 HEMI Orange Dart Swinger. Fast street racer.
1973 340 Charger Ralley. Very well balanced car.

My current '64 Valiant convertible, but the baby blue '68 FuryIII, 2-door hardtop that was my first new car, runs a close 2nd.

In May of 1970 I bought a brand new AAR CUDA $4200 That was alot then I guess I should have kept it, I sold it 1 year later for 1800 thats how cheap things were then it had 22000 miles on it was red 4 speed. Hind sight is always 20/20.

My favorite car was my first a 68 roadrunner 440/4 speed but as of late my Barracuda is my baby i love to drive this car and it's unique, around here i'm one of very few which gives it that cool factor.

My favorite was my very first Mopar, the '69 340 Swinger I bought used in late 1969 for $2500 complete with Cragar S/S mags, R4 Charger Red with white butt stripe, and black benchseat interior. Great cruising car on Whittier Blvd. back then and fun on both the street and strip after a few mods. Loved hunting down big-block Chevelles!
Close 2nd has to be the triple-black '70 Charger 500 I bought used (also $2500) almost two years later. Absolutely gorgeous car with tastefully done electric-blue pinstriping, polished aluminum slot wheels and L60-15 Goodyears on the back. Comfortable cruiser and looked really nice next to my 340 Swinger.
Sure wish I still had both of them!

high optioned 1970 Road Runner 383, pistol grip, air grabber, 323's that i bought in my senior year of HS. rebuilt the motor about a year after i got it and put a bunch of Direct Connection goodies on it and man it was FAST for a heavy street car :burnout:

Thought about this for a bit,...Had to,...I've had many, many MoPars over the years,...easily well over a hundred,...

Has to be my trusty old 90 Dakota, 3.9litre 5 speed, I'm the only owner,...was ordered brand spankin new by me, for me,...carried every thing under the sun in it, modded it with V8 springs, tint, roller t/chain, cop wheels,etc,...... camped in it, built my house with it, sold firewood with it, towed cars with it, "interviewed" (ahem) more than couple of girlfriends with it, did hundreds of fire and EMS calls with it, and on and on,...

Just comin up on 250 thou, I still own it,...almost sold it, Pam talked me out of sellin,...thinkin about a full on resto pretty soon, They just don't make em like this anymore..

I wish my Dakota looked that good. They are great little trucks

Mine was the instant I bought it, spring of 71?, and still would be if I could afford one, my old 70 44-6 Road Runner. I have no good photos, due to age, and a house fire. At the time I bought it, I had a 69 383 4 speed RR, with headers, Edelbrock, Holley 780. The 440-6 made that 383 seem like it was parked. Friend of mine who owned a 70 Chiv 3/4 4x4 at the time (new) drove it once and started out accidently in 3rd gear. He didn't know the difference!!

440sixpack, Dana 3.54, 4 speed, "hang on A/C", great (U.S. Indy) wheels, and most of the time had an 800 Holley DP. Air Grabber/ black hood, originally had the "Duster trails" er whatever they were called. I put over 140K on the car, but not that engine, later in life a 340!!

Now I wish my Dakota had 5 lugs instead of 6. :banghead:
