"Rare options".............why would you NOT say what they are???

I can't imagine advertising one of these and failing to mention WHAT ENGINE came in the thing "matching numbers short block" so do we assume this is a 383?

I'd drive the thing without the Superbird nose just for the hell of it.

You never know it could be a real bird and someoen doesnt know. Also there were Superbirds sold with just the wing and roadrunner front end. They had trouble getting rid of cars and a lot of them where changed back to road runners. I read this in a few Mopar mags.

All real super birds were vinyl top cars, cannot tell by picture, but looks like regular, runner

Yes some birds were converted back to standard runners to be sold new. Wing and nose thrown the dumpster

I agree with what CoronetRTguy said. It could be a real Superbird just by looking at it. Would it say anything on the VIN or fender tag that it could be?

I think the tomato soup can on the console qualifies as "rare options"

it doesnt have the rear window plug so it wouldnt be a real superbird

i agree...

I didn't know the Birds got the rear window plug. I know the Daytona's did and come to think of it I have never sceen a bird without a vynal top.

I wish I could remember what the Superbirds vin# started with. Wasn't Daytona's XX or something?

Its crazy they threw away thouse parts back then to bad no one saved them just think of what they could have gotten for them....about the price of a new Roadrunner or close to what a Superbird would have cost back then or more lol.

the vins are the same as normal roadrunners RM23U would be 440 magnum, RM23V 440 six pack or RM23R HEMI

Which makes you wonder where this guy got the wing, and where the rest of the wing car went.

No I'm saying that back in the day when dealer ships couldnt sell the Superbirds took the wings and nose off and sold them as Roadrunners. If someone threw the parts out they could have made a lot more money years later.

I'm not saying this could be the real deal but there are Roadrunners out there that people have no clue they were Superbirds.

You should buy that RoadRunner and finish it out
