I searched everywhere. Hard to believe there is not a national appreciation day for forum moderators. Hell they have one for just about everything else.

So I'm suggesting this Friday as FABO moderator appreciation day.
It's a thankless job that goes unappreciated. I know first hand I was one for several years.

This site has some of the best. Often in the background. They rarely post probably because they are to busy putting out fires caused by some of us unruly members.

So Friday I suggest we all just put up a post to say thanks.

Ok since it is now Friday, at least eastern standard time. I am bumping this back to the top.

Just asking members to acknowledge the thankless job they do.

The mods have a thankless job, and I have no complaints whatever with 'em.

I agree they need a big THANX for the job they do. Keeping the peace isn't always a fun or easy task. I know I wouldn't want the challenge.

Agree they do need a big thanks ......they often get made out as bad guys for doing their duty. .....there is a lot mystery behind why they do certain things and who they really are but they do a good job.

i cant say i really know a lot of them personally but the site is still alive so they must be doing something right.

i give a big shout out to Mr. Waggin ....i can say i know him and i can say i learned a lot from him.

shout out for C..... i mis-understood her at first but its appearent in watching her that there is a good reason why she does what she does. definately someone worth getting to know ....and a pretty lady.

shout out to Mr. Adam ...a very mysterious feller but anyone can see that he loves this site...Thanks

And of course dont forget the Big Cannoli ....Mr. Joey who runs a good site here. :toothy9:

thanks to rest of you and hope to get to know you someday.

and thanks OMR for starting this nice thread

12:10 a.m. Central time so I'm good to get in on the Friday FABO Thanks-A-Lot. :-D Very good thread all around! It is indeed a nasty, thankless job and we have the cream of the crop here. I count several of the past / present as valued customers and have had occasion to deal with most of the rest as friends. They do the site a service and are no doubt one of the main reasons FABO is as popular as it is.

Keep up the fine work!! Thanks for doing all you do. :-D < curtsey to all >

I'm on brake at work and seen this.

KISS MY *** MODS!!!!!

Muha ha ha ha ha ha.....

Only kidding people's !!! Many a good people doing the MOD job!

Ok it's Friday, I would like to add my thanks to all the mods for taking the considerable time and effort to keep this site on a good course, it is a delicate balancing act and you do a good job.

Good morning to you love muahhhhhhhhh ... you're one of those 'formers' I was talking about. I see you're having a great night at work as always.

I agree 100% with old man ray. If it was not for the mods we would not have this board that we all love soo much!

A big thanks from Missouri!

This is one of the few forums that I am a member of so that says a lot.

Thank all of YOU!!

I've only been on here about a month now, but more than long enough to see you guys do a great job. ThanX for an amazingly well run site!

LOL, my tales of woe continue like the Cuda Capers thread..... He he he

Retired mod or not thanks anyway.

On behalf of the current Mods, I'd like to say thanks. Happy to be retired. Though the job was fun, without details, it could be very trying at times.
One of the things that make it fun is just simply helping out. Just onerous little inch in addition to helping members out with something I know a out the old cars.

Joeychgo and AdamR have a lil'big place here. When the issues pile up, it can be very demanding on getting them sorted out. Never ins the huge problems that come around. Like moving to a new server! Holy Moly!

Thank you MODS, I feel your pain and thank you Joeychgo!!!!
He is a good guy.

Tough job to do. Thanks for what you guys do to keep us on an even keel.

Great idea for sure. I for one really appreciate what they all do here. Its not a easy task and at times can get ugly. From what ive seen i think they all do a great job and handle the uneasy sittuations very well. THANKS to all of you:cheers:
