My Gold membership expired earlier this month. Due to a few personal and other reasons (not the least of which being that I'm still waiting to be paid for a few FABO jobs that were completed during the month of December), I'm not in a position to renew it yet ... and am still deciding if I'm going to.

I also don't have the extra time to sort out 1000 saved private messages to see what I'm keeping and what I'm not. Since the Inbox is full, I've missed PMs from Joel Snyder, FJRDoc and Nite Moves so far -- I'm sorry guys.

Wow, I hope the few FABO members do there part and get you paid for the work/jobs
you have completed for them, I don't know why but I would pond anything I have to pay my bills and take care of business :glasses7:
 
Thanks guys. Unfortunately, it seems that family Christmas presents were a bigger priority than paying for commissioned custom work. What those people failed to understand is that MY Christmas (and the monthly bills) depended on the work going out and the money for that work coming in. Small business owners AREN'T rich ... we're just trying to scrape out a living in this crappy economy just like everybody else, and one, two or three breaks in that chain just make the rest of the links weaker.

I know one thing though. There's going to be some really cool custom Mopar stuff listed on eBay here in the next couple of weeks if things don't change. I hate to be a stickler and enforce company policy, but my creditors don't extend any courtesies or extensions to me either. As a gentle reminder to those who might be surprised to see their parts listed online for sale, this is a direct quote from my website:

"ANY CUSTOMER'S PART THAT IS LEFT WITHOUT FULL PAYMENT IN ADVANCE AND UNCLAIMED / UNPAID FOR 30 (THIRTY) DAYS FROM WRITTEN NOTIFICATION OF BILLING CAN AND WILL BE ADVERTISED TO THE PUBLIC OR PRIVATE BUYERS AND SUBSEQUENTLY SOLD TO SATISFY THE OUTSTANDING BILL WITHOUT ANY COMPENSATION OR ADDITIONAL NOTICE TO THAT CUSTOMER. INTEREST ON ALL SUMS DUE AND OWING WILL BE CHARGED AT 1.5% PER MONTH UNTIL THE PART(S) IS SOLD."​

I'm with ya there. It's always bad this time of year. Charge card bills from Christmas, high heating bills, etc. The powdercoater and toolman are last on the food chain. It will get better! Keep your chin up. tmm

I hear "I can't pay my storage bill because...

My car payment is due
I had to loan $*** to my in law
My kids are both in college
I was working (really?)
(this guy NEVER pays the correct amount and NEVER pays on time..)
(...and he is a business owner!)
I'm making extra payments on my Harley (seriously)


So they expect me to let them stay for free and cause me not to pay my bills.

Leanna! I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through! I hope those FABO members and others owing you money stepp up and pay you ASAP. You helped me so let me know if I can help you!

Thanks too to whomever got me Gold again! I don't know who it was but I thank you for it. Please let me know who you are by email so I can eventually make it right. :-D (Just saw your post there Karl ... the Blue Room is a bit much for me LOL -- I've got my own to play with. ;-) )

As for payment for completed parts.... Pay up folks or your stuff will be sold at a premium!

Though I know who a few of the "guilty" parties are, I just learned this morning that my Gold membership has been renewed through January 27, 2021. Thank you's go out all over the world today ... and for once I'm at a loss to put my thoughts into words because I just can't type fast enough.

Gentlemen ... you're all class acts! :-D

But I don't suppose any of you have a side job as a bill collector??? LOL

Ya'll never fail to surprise me or keep me on my toes, that's for sure. Thanks again.
 
You are apparantly well loved...2021 is 7 yrs worth...hope now you get your money for jobs already done,times are tough,just this morning I had to fry my sock now my left foot is cold...lmao...all my car stuff is on hold for now due to economics and lack of funds,gotta eat and the electic bill never stops even when you do and they will take your last dollar and ask for more,being in business for yourself isnt at all what its cracked up to be,it's tough, got to hussle all the time and costs go up and profits go down and when the money aint coming in faster than it goes out you can get way behind and in a bind real quik and it's hard to get out of the hole,very frustrating,but keep your head up keep plugging away and eventually something will break and get better,Jan is a tough month for everyone unless your a politician...or a crack dealer..dont know which is actually worse..lol...prayers sent your way for prosperity and relief..
