WOW Stolen Cuda found

Allegedly business at 968 NW Division st, Gresham, OR. Doesn't look like much of a joint. The house in the video sure looks like SOMEBODY did OK

if they can "somehow" get the ' cuda back in their possession, then it's theirs, they have the title.

At the rate its going, this ahole is gonna wake up with a missing cuda and the former owner is gonna wake up to the surprise of his car in the driveway.
 
I don't understand! This car, one guy has a clear title (rightful owner) the other guy has a bill of sale (written by WHO?) and the VIN on the title is the SAME on the car, and everything matches, how can this be? The title and bill of sale I BET has 2 different dates on it, and the bill of sale has a 3rd party name selling it to the guy that currently has it. WELL the original owner of the car, did HE OR SHE call police to say MY CAR WAS STOLEN!!!! For a police "record" of the action that took place?

IF there is a police record of it being reported, and the title is in the hands of the guy who bought it in the first place, and that "bill of sale" was written by some 3rd party that can testify to him owning the car, with proof, or NO proof, then the owner with proof of the 3rd party ownership would rule in court, IF no proof, of ownership by the 3rd party, looks to be Grand Theft Auto to me and the police (Maybe the state police to get involved here, NOT the "Townies") could bring this Cuda back to its rightful owner, and a HAPPY one to boot!

I just don't see how a bill of sale is all thats needed, AS long as a "REAL" title exists!

From what I read this so called contractor does not have the title, and bought it without one. I agree, time to get a lawyer. Prosecution or civil, matters not, time to get him into court and produce "proof."

Give the man his car back!!!!
 
Didn't this happen to a member on here? He got one back but not the other, a charger I believe.

There are states that don't issues titles for older cars (dumbest thing ever), something I don't agree with but I'm not running them. Every state issues regardless of age.

I despise unnecessary litigation. But this guy is not getting justice. The police department is likely afraid of being sued by a guy who can afford a lawyer. I would donate to help fund a lawyer in this case.
 
The Car with the Canadian plates is not the car in question. I believe that car was in a Mopar Muscle feature article years ago with a horror story line of a restoration shop "working" on it and taking their money to fund other cars. Sending bogus pictures of progress while it was all in parts and not getting worked on. They found out from somebody that the car wasn't getting done and they went and had the car pulled out and it went to a reputable shop to get done. Ended up costing them big time money and lots of time to finally get done.
 
I dont know how many of you read mopar collectors guide , but i seem to remember a story just like this about one of the general lee movie cars that was sold by the guys wife while a divorce was going on and the guy that bought it from the wife wa somehow able to keep it . This *** wipe is very lucky he doesnt have my Cuda in his garage . It would not be a good story on his part . I doubt any state considers a bill of sale legal ownership over a title . I would also not be surprised if this dude has friends at the local police station that are delaying this for him .
 
I just read the 26 page thread over on Yellow Bullet. Those guys are out for blood.

I hope this gets resolved and the rightful owner gets his car back. After listening to all the interviews this Lee Sitton guy is a crooked MF'er and deserves to have his a$$ kicked. He knew the car was stolen and was trying to get a title through the crooked tow company but it backfired in his face. Now he's doing everything he can to cover his tracks.
 
How high on their priority list do you think law enforcement ranks this? Unless the original owners have a lot of pull I doubt there will be any form of investigation. I understand that the statute of limitation may be preventing cops from moving forward but whoever the local DA is should be able to bring it before a judge for a ruling on whether or not police can proceed. If the judge rules in favor of the limitation statute the cops should still be able to check out the person listed as the seller on the bill of sale. Where there's smoke there's usually fire.

If it's found that the 'seller' is involved in similar nefarious deeds I would think that all damaged parties would be allowed recovery of stolen goods.

But as I stated before if none of the powers that be feel the urge to investigate further, the real owners are screwed.

- And as far as the guy that presently has possession of the 'Cuda... It sounds like he's a real piece of work. Unless he's squeaky clean I'd like to see him prosecuted for someone receiving stolen property or for aiding and assisting in the original crime.
 
You know this lee sitton is a scum , he knew exactly was he was buying a hot car and tried to wait it out , he could have sold that car during the craze and made a fortune why would he wait until now when the market sucks , Yellow Bullit go get him , I tried to leave a message on his phone it went right to machine
