prayers needed

Praying for your little girl as well. In Jesus name - Amen!

Last night she was up every couple hours in pain. They gave her morphine and she went back to sleep. Tasha and I took turns taking cat naps. This went on into this afternoon. She finally was awake long enough for me to get her laughing and eat some food. Didn't want anything from the hospital ended up eating some of our left over Chinese. Later on she was able to stand up so we went to the hospitals toy room. She is doing way better in a very short amount of time. She still has the chest tube (hopefully it will come out tomorrow). They said they got all of the tumor and it is for sure Neuroblastoma. The biopsy results won't come in for a few days.

Appreciate all the prayers and kind words.
Sam

Thank you Sam for the update. Great to hear your little trooper Ellanor is doing so well.

Prayers sent that the cancerous tumor was totally removed, complete recovery and remission of the cancer never to return again.

Glad to hear the good news. Here's to a fast recovery.

Any updates? How's the little one doing???

She got back home last Saturday afternoon. She is doing really well. Wouldn't even know she had surgery by watching her play. Tasha is staying home with her until the bandage gets removed to make sure her incision doesn't get ripped open. She had another appointment yesterday back up in the cities to go over treatment for the http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...kWeYRIoIeFSeD54aRUM1ZzQ&bvm=bv.75775273,d.eXY
opsoclonus myoclonus. (eyes shake, body shakes, speech problems, cant sleep) Evidently its a very rare issue that happens with the neuroblastoma (1 in 10 million kids per year) She will be getting a I.V. treatment once a month for 6-8 hours per visit for 3 months. Steroids for three days after each I.V. treatment. If all goes as planned it will solve all the problems.

She's been a trooper. We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers.
Sam, Tasha, Ellanor, Leighton
