Stop in for a cup of coffee

Solar lease explained. With a solar lease, instead of paying a monthly bill to the electric company, you pay it to the solar company. Supposedly at a reduced rate. BUT at the end of the lease, however long, the system is still owned by the company that installed it. If you dont want another lease, they take it out! They get your solar tax credit, for me it is 20 grand! AND what ever the system produces you pay for. EVEN if you leave the house vacant, you still pay. AND you will still
have a electric bill.

And what happens as the panels degrade and produce less and less power. Do the do free upgrades.

I would clone that into a GTX and slap on a correct air cleaner and drive it from here to PA and pick up Mr. Tike with it for a burger lunch somewhere in Pittsburg.
I'm done now! Tike has won your heart and gets to have a burger with you. While heartbroken, I am happy for two of you.. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some sorrows to drown..

Well the damned house AC froze up again so I'm home playing nursemaid to the system until the service guys can get here on Thursday to repair it.

I did manage to get the fire extinguisher mounted in the trunk of the GTS though. Heavy steel mount bolted through the floor pan. The trunk mat is cut around it so I can still pull the mat out when I want to.

that moment when your machine shop tells you it'll be ANOTHER month on my 440 :BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

So. Today I had the luxury of being stuck in line behind a Gentle Giant. I listened to him cry and bemoan to the cashier to ring up an item that wasn't covered by his free card as something different. After a few minutes and my clearing my throat. He finally said ok how much she told him $3.00, and he started moaning again but relented. Then the second shoe dropped. That will be $3.38 with tax. You would think it was his life savings. Reached in his pocket and naturally pulled out a roll. Pealed off a twenty, got his change, looked at me and the line and commented about how much people are over taxed. Well me being the quiet type I came out of character and said.

Just imagine how much worse you would feel if you had to actually work for that money, or work and pay for someone elses blunts. At first he just mumbled something that sounded like true. Then about five or six steps later I guess the light went on. He turned back and looked at me and the others who were laughing. Then shrugged his shoulders and left. Maybe it was a dim bulb that lit.

Not surprised. I've been behind people paying with food cards, only to see them whip out cash to pay for a couple cases of beer or whiskey.

Well, that sucks...

A friend was getting the 383 in his '69 Roadrunner rebuilt and it was supposed to be done back in March. He just got the car back 2 weeks ago. The waiting made him nuts but now that he has it back, he's mostly forgotten about how long it took.

Yeah. They had a machine go down and are waiting on parts.... they hope to have the parts tomorrow

I was behind a woman a few years back who didn't have the cash for the items not covered. She suggested that maybe I would pay for them. I told her sorry I already paid for everything else in your cart. Just got a clueless stare.

So in a few years time you have an inefficient system and no recourse?
On my system power output is guarantied for 25 years. On leased systems they have a motive to keep it running at peak performance, you pay for ALL power generated, even if you dont use it!.

I do like how they ran the plug wires on his 383. All custom made to length to run "hidden" and not across the valve covers...

How many kwh do you expect to generate with that 12 KW system?

My calculations show around 50 kwh/day as a yearly average, but I'm not sure that's correct.
