Just wondering if anyone knows if, how, and what i need to swap a small block mopar in my 09 charger sxt? Engine is ticking and wondered what it would take to put an old engine in, instead of replacing with another v6.
seems simple... motor, 727 run my own gauges?
Hemi swap costs too much. And i can do maintenance myself on an older motor..
any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

I'd image it's the same as dropping a small block into a slant six car, motor mounts, transmission exhaust

Perhaps a rear end so you can eliminate the traction controll

You might get the engine to run but nothing else in the car would work.

Wouldn't need it to work if it was all in a trash can. :D

"Back to the Future" would have to be painted on it ya know, and I would love to be involved in that one.
Canada is kind of far from AZ.

Thats kinda what i was thinking. So would i look for an B body rear end? Also what about brakes. Im sure thats on the ecm so if i ditch the harness how will this affect the brakes

Haha that would be a good plate.
my charger already looks wicked just needs the engine to match...

Dreams are good but wouldn't it take a bunch of $$$ - engineering - real nice fab shop

Someone swapped a 6bt and an nv4500 into one. if they could do that, then you could probably make almost anything work with enough time and money.

i have been thinking of doing a swap with a magnum useing a 5.9 with a 904
so with my little knowledge of newer systems
once i change the drive train just have to turn the key to run position to get the power to the cars body and the engine on its own start, run
